I'm not an avid blogger, but I've been particularly quiet on this blog for a while now. This is due in part, I think, to the amount of project work I do, and the fact that I have a "little person" at home, and he takes quite a lot of time I'd probably be spent programming and blogging away from me.
OpenLP
OpenLP is a cross-platform lyrics projection system for churches.
Well, this is my main project, so this is what is worked on the most. We've just had a very successful release of version 1.9.1 AKA Alpha 1. Work continues on this project, with about 4 active developers, and about another 2 or 3 occasional contributors.
ScribeEngine
ScribeEngine is a blog engine written in Python and the Pylons framework.
My Python blog engine is coming along nicely. I'm supposed to work on it a little bit each day of the year, but sadly I've been a bit spotty of late. The main parts are all there - blog posts, commenting, tags, logging in and out and registering. I've just started on a media library for uploading images and other media.
Project HQ
Project HQ is a project management system written in Python and the Pylons framework.
I unfortunately haven't done much work on Project HQ. I've done some far ranging changes, and it's taken me a while to get most of them implemented, and there's still a lot I need to do. Project HQ has taken a back seat at the moment, but I'm hoping to spend a little time each month on it in the near future.
